The Varia™ RTL515 is a rearview light with integrated radar technology to detect vehicles from a distance of up to 140 metres. When a vehicle approaches, the bike radar alerts the cyclist audibly and visually via the connected display unit or a compatible Garmin product (Edge or wearable). The slim and aerodynamic Varia RTL515 can be mounted on the seat post of racing, touring or city bikes without tools. The battery life of up to 16 hours also allows for longer tours. With the Garmin Varia App, the Varia can be used directly with the smartphone for the first time and warns of approaching vehicles. In the new Peloton mode, the flashing light signals are at a lower intensity for riding in a group.
