According to the expert jury of the Red Dot Award, the STORCK name:2 captures the current zeitgeist with its unique geometry and agile, lightweight overall appearance. Thanks to its iconic design, the compact urban e-bike is the clear winner of the coveted award. The verdict of the design experts is unequivocal: "The strikingly simple and compact design of the name:2 succeeds in a memorable way in meeting today's mobility requirements with an e-bike that is at once stable, lightweight and sporty."

The innovative city e-bike name:2 will now be on display for one year in the "Design on Stage" exhibition at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen and also in its own online exhibition. After STORCK Bikes have already received more than 80 design awards in various competitions over the years, the current appreciation of the name:2 once again underlines the long tradition of the high design standards of founder and managing director Markus Storck. "The Red Dot Award is one of the most prestigious design competitions for us due to its worldwide reputation, and it is a great honor to receive this award for our interpretation of future-oriented e-mobility," said Storck.

Since its inception in 1955, the coveted "Red Dot" award has been a highly respected international seal of design excellence. Each year, an international jury of designers and journalists selects the product innovations from several thousand submissions that stand out for their design solutions.
