Smart e-bike "Cyklær" and STORCK aero racer "Aerfast.4 Pro" take double victory at International Design Award

Designer Markus Storck is currently experiencing an outstanding start to the new year. The founder of the premium manufacture STORCK Bicycle can be pleased about gold and silver at the International Design Award 2021 with the innovative Cyklær and the brand new Aerfast.4 Pro, one of the fastest racing bikes ever measured and the first in the world under 199 watts.

Launched by Porsche Digital and STORCK Bicycle in September, the innovative Cyklær brand celebrated two high-profile "TOP" design and "Winner" awards at the European Product Design Award and the German Design Award just a few months ago.

The highest gold award at the worldwide International Design Award in the category "Outdoor And Exercise Equipment / Bicycle and bicycle accessories" crowns the series of successes and reflects the significant international perception of the unique design. The sporty urban e-bike combines intelligent technologies and high-quality bicycle components with a distinctive design and also offers a platform for digital services around an integrated cycling experience.

STORCK's aero racer Aerfast.4 Pro takes second place in the same category at the International Design Award, winning silver. In addition to the aerodynamics perfected to a record level through cleverly optimized flow characteristics, the snappy appearance in Radioactive Green with white racing stripes is also convincing. The fast aero bike is a consistent further development in the wind tunnel. The cockpit and fork of the Aerfast.4 Pro have been designed to be even more aerodynamic, so that the surfaces exposed to the airstream are kept to a minimum and air turbulence is minimized.

Established in 2007, the International Design Award annually recognizes intelligent and sustainable multidisciplinary designs in architecture, interior design, product, graphic and fashion design worldwide. With this grandiose double award in product design, Markus Storck once again demonstrates his remarkable sensitivity for contemporary design developments.
