STORCK Bicycle generates excellent growth of 117.5 percent in 2021

In 2021, STORCK continues to be on the fast lane. With an increase in sales of 117.5%, the family-owned company based in Idstein, Germany, once again achieved an outstanding record growth. The order volume via the company's own webshop closed the year with a plus of almost 300%. For the current year, the company is aiming for a further multiplication of sales as a result of the model offensive.

In times of ongoing supply bottlenecks, the base for the dynamic increase comes from attractive products and brand-appropriate planning. Founder and General Manager Markus Storck says: "The latest models have been launched at just the right time and are in tune with the times. The numerous test wins and design awards in the past year prove how well we are positioned for the future."

With the presentation of a total of seven new models, STORCK has set off a fireworks of new products in 2021, especially in the road bike and gravel segment. On the product side, fans of lightweight carbon high-end bikes can again look forward to a number of innovations this year. In addition, STORCK is increasingly establishing itself in the e-mobility sector. The most successful product is the smart connected e-bike Cyklær, which has won the prestigious awards "German Design", "Public Choice", "European Product Design", "International Design" and "FOCUS E-Bike Design". The positive response from both the expert juries and consumers is a remarkable confirmation for the Cyklær brand, which was newly launched by STORCK together with Porsche Digital.

STORCK's high-end racing bikes also provided a sensational result in the Velomotion Readers' Vote a few days ago with two first places. The new aero racer Aerfast.4 Pro won among the road high-end bikes, while the esteemed all-rounder Fascenario.3 Comp was the front-runner among the road mid-range bikes. Never before has the company's own collection of awards received so much growth in one year as last year.

"We analyse the feedback from our customers precisely and therefore invest massively in our ability to deliver. To ensure ongoing production, we have ordered very proactively for the coming years. This will enable us to meet the continued strong growth in demand for our products. In the course of the strong growth in sales, we are also expanding our bicycle enthusiastic team. We have already created numerous new jobs in the past year and are planning a further doubling of the staff. We see the passion and motivation of our team in especially as the basis of our success," says General Manager Dr. Todor Lohwasser.

The immense impact of experiencing the high-quality bikes is reflected in increasing sales at the company's own four flagship stores and has resulted in an expansion in stationary sales. In addition to strong distribution partners, STORCK is planning another flagship store in Germany. STORCK will also begin an annex building for a quadrupling of the assembly capacities at the headquarters in Idstein this year, thus strengthening the German production site.
