Historic Triple Victory for STORCK Bicycle at the Red Dot Award 2022: Cyklær additionally receives highest "Best of the Best" award

STORCK is awarded all three design creations submitted to the Red Dot Award 2022, celebrating another milestone in the development of remarkable design language.

One of the fastest racing bikes in the world, the aerodynamically perfected STORCK race bike Aerfast.4 Pro in a eye-catching Radioactive Green paint finish receives the prestigious Red Dot Winner award for design excellence.

The second bike honored with the Winner award is the new gravel bike GRIX.2 Pro, which stands out not only with its special color gradient but also with functional and at the same time visually appealing innovations, such as a shapely carbon handlebar stem unit with complete integration of the cables.

The "Best of the Best" award has a special significance for the new Cyklær brand, which was presented jointly by Porsche Digital and STORCK last year. The smart connected Cyklær e-bike is based on a cleverly engineered carbon frame with unique design elements combined with innovative digital features. Beyond the e-bike, the Cyklær brand offers a platform for digital services around an integrated cycling experience.

The "Best of the Best" award represents a historic success for STORCK in the context of the company's long tradition. Designer Markus Storck won the first of now almost 100 design awards directly as "Best of the Best" appreciation in 1997 with the full-suspension mountain bike Adrenalin, which at the time was already ahead of its time with a revolutionary suspension system. Another "Best of the Best" win followed the year after with the Organic mountain bike. 25 years later, the years of further development of extraordinary design work is now once again rewarded with the prestigious award.

The urban city e-bike STORCK name:2 with iconic design won the award last year 2021 and can still be seen at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen until June 2022. There, as well as in the Red Dot online exhibition, this year's winners, including the STORCK Highlights and Cyklær, among others, will be celebrated afterwards.

For Cyklær, "Red Dot Best of the Best" already ranks as the fifth design award within a few months in its successful market launch. Recent product test wins by major e-bike magazines highlight the level of innovation of the new Cyklær brand.

Since its introduction in 1955, the coveted "Red Dot" award has been a highly respected international seal of design excellence. Each year, an international jury of designers and journalists selects the product innovations from several thousand submissions that stand out for their design solutions.
