Commitment in Alpine Skiing: STORCK Bicycle supports professional skier Andreas Sander

Ski star Andreas Sander is currently competing in the downhill and super-G disciplines at the Winter Games in Beijing. He already completed part of his preparation last spring and summer on the fast STORCK Aerfast.3 Pro.

After the German from Westphalia was able to win the World Junior Championship title in Super-G in 2008, his success story has been going steadily uphill. Top-10 finishes at the 2018 Olympics and top-5 finishes in World Cup races led him to his greatest success to date: he was runner-up in the downhill at the 2021 World Championships.

In preparation for the alpine disciplines, cycling is a welcome balancing sport for skiers as an accompanying fitness training. Regular bike training offers variety, and strength endurance as well as general stamina can also be trained particularly well on the bike. Markus Storck, Managing Director at STORCK Bicycle is pleased about the cooperation. "Andi Sander is one of the fastest ski racers in the world, speed is in his blood. So he also needs the fastest racing bike," he says about the motives behind his commitment.
