Kann ich mein Fahrrad auch woanders in die Inspektion geben?Kann ich mein Fahrrad auch woanders in die Inspektion geben?
How often should I have my e-bike serviced?

Due to the higher frame weight and the greater forces, service is necessary more often. Due to the electric motor, some components such as the chain should be replaced a bit earlier than on a normal bike. Please refer to the motor manufacturer's operating instructions for information on how often the bike needs to be serviced. We generally advise you to have your e-bike serviced every six months.

How far can I drive with a fully charged battery?

The range depends on a few factors: Outdoor temperature, body weight, cadence. It also depends on how you use the three support modes of the motor (Shimano: Eco, Trail/ Norm, Boost/High; Fazua: Breeze (green), River (blue), Rocket (purple); Continental: 1, 2, 3, 4) and how many metres of altitude you ride.

Is the battery charged when I receive it?

Our e-bikes are always charged when the bike is delivered, as we test drive them again after completing the assembly.

What is the best way to handle my battery?

Please ensure that the battery is stored in a dry place, ideally at a room temperature of 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. Maintaining a charge of between 30 and 80 % is optimal for the life of the battery.

What do I do if I discover that may battery is defective?

If your battery appears to be defective, please contact us or your dealer directly. We will check the situation and contact the manufacturer to solve your problem. For all other details, please contact our customer service.

What should I pay attention to with my e-bike battery in winter?
  • It is best to store your battery indoors at temperatures between 10 and 20 degrees. If you also ride your e-bike in winter, you should only insert the battery shortly before setting off and, if possible, take it back into your home or office at the end of the ride. Wait until the battery has warmed up before charging.
  • In the cold, your battery will not work as well as in summer and will not deliver the same performance. The range decreases considerably. So always keep an eye on your battery indicator. By the way: The battery warms up itself during storm generation.
  • If you do not use your battery for a longer period of time, you should store it with a charge level of 30 to 80 %. Completely draining your battery is not recommended. It should be noted that the battery also slowly discharges itself. It should be checked after one to two months and recharged if necessary.
Can I take my bike to another service centre?
  • You can also take your bike to other repair shops, as long as the inspection etc. is carried out professionally.
